El website de Ghost in the Shell muestra el primer video promocional de Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solic State Society, película que ha sido convertida al 3D y que estrenará en cines el próximo 26 de marzo, pero se realizará un pre-estreno totalmente gratis el 25 de febrero.

Contratan escritora para live-action de GitS

Según reporta Variety, el estudio Dreamworks ha contratado a Laeta Kalogridis para adaptar al live-action el manga Ghost in the Shell, de Masamune Shirow. Kalogridis ha escrito guiones para las películas Alexander, Pathfinder y Shutter Island (próxima película de DiCaprio), además de ser productora ejecutiva de series como Birds of Prey y Bionic Woman.
